Sheikh Zayed - Life and Times, a collection of photographs by Royal Photographer Noor Ali Rashid, celebrates the vision of His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, under whose rule the United Arab Emirates was formed and has prospered greatly. Published to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the UAE and updated immediately after Sheikh Zayed passed away in November 2004, this book contains rare historical photographs of events in the Federation's past, as well as stunning portraits of Sheikh Zayed. Images that highlight his dual roles as Ruler of Abu Dhabi and President of the UAE are accompanied by pictures of a less formal, more intimate nature, showing Sheikh Zayed as a family man and father, both to his own family and to the nation.
